From West to East..

You always have a problem with the West and blame us for bad influences.You say we have no culture since our parents talk to their teenagers about their sex lives, you say we have more single mothers in our country, you say we lack religious beliefs since we don’t get married but have live- ins.

So let me ask you this what cultural heritage do you boast about now when even ur infants are raped? Ever thought who these rapist were influenced by? Your women are stuck with cheating husbands and unhappy relationships in the name of religious beliefs and the society you live in. Atleast we are open about the way we are, happy with the partners we have live ins with, our ladies don’t feel unsafe on the streets or beaches here, our cops don’t go around raping women and our single mothers are looked after well with all benefits provided by the government. We drink, smoke and enjoy life but that doesn’t mean we don’t value family. We don’t boast of big hollow families but we have families where people genuinely love each other. Where a stepmom loves her stepson and step daughter equally as a mom would. Where nans and grand dads are cherished by their grandchildren and vice versa though they don’t live together. Where young boys are taught to respect a woman for the person she is and not ogle at her because of the clothes she wears or the way her breasts move when she breathes. Men are courteous here and respect woman no matter where they are. Be it on streets, shopping malls or airports our girls don’t go through eve-teasing or are not harassed even in skimpy clothing since we have stringent laws here. I know more than half of the Indian men who read this article may infact do it due to my picture in my gym attire coz all that interests you is a pair of boobs and an ass isn’t it? That’s the sick mentality most Indian men sadly have!

We live in a place where sorry and please are not mere words. We are made of patient drivers on streets and respect humans irrespective of the clothes he/she wears. We even love and do more for our pets and protect them better than your laws for women protection wherein the law protectors themselves turn into crime masters. We don’t pretend to be something we are not hope you remember this next time you point to us! If given a choice today no Indian woman would like to give birth to a girl in India. I thought you said you were on the way to becoming a developed country India but at this rate am afraid that you may not even be called a developing country anymore. I used to hear people use the term God save America when they would speak of the West but now with all the brutality towards young girls in India that’s all that can be said to you so yes ‘God save India’ and for the rest of your lives you can continue debating on which religion that God belongs to since you are good at doing that rather than focusing on the issue of women safety in India. Hope better sense prevails!!
