Martin's Place - Goa

Being a foodie I can never get done with trying out new places for food. So when I was invited to this place to try their food and blog about it, I readily agreed. I'd like to thank my fellow foodie friends Dr. Linoshka, Rox Gomes and Niranjan Purohit for coming along with me on this foodventure. From the tongue roast to the beef roulad one can immediately connect with Goa and its flavours as every ingredient does justice to the taste of it. Paris, Je t'aime!

My love affair with Paris began since I was in high school when I took French in class 8th. May seem a long time back for some of you but to me it seems like yesterday. On the autograph books in school I used to answer the question what's your dream as: kissing my man in front of the Eiffel Tower. Years passed from school to high school and then college and work and life went by but I held on to my dream.   When I moved out of India to UK I had the option to travel to Paris as my first destination but I chose not. You know why? Because I wanted it to be special, so I thought I'd ride to Paris. I took riding classes here in UK in order to be able to do so but then the dream would be incomplete without finding my dream man. Greece - Living the dream

It was in 2014 when I first saw a picture of Santorini on the Facebook page of a friend and that was the day I fell in love with Greece. I pointed to the picture and said I am going to go there someday and its true that the universe conspires for things to happen if you truly want it bad. So while in Goa I spoke to a couple of friends of mine about travelling in Europe and my good friend Niranjan was game for it. Initially Germany was the location that we finalized on but then the universe worked its magic and all plans turned towards Greece as our beloved friends Rahul and Shian from London also wanted to visit Greece.
