Martin's Place - Goa

Being a foodie I can never get done with trying out new places for food. So when I was invited to this place to try their food and blog about it, I readily agreed. I'd like to thank my fellow foodie friends Dr. Linoshka, Rox Gomes and Niranjan Purohit for coming along with me on this foodventure. In fact, Linoshka decided to use this as an opportunity to give me her pre-birthday treat.

If you a
re looking for authentic Goan food in Goa, then Martin's Place in Dramapur is definitely the place. From the tongue roast to the beef roulad one can immediately connect with Goa and its flavours as every ingredient does justice to the taste of it. For the starters we had cheese stuffed mushrooms that were an immediate hit as the mushrooms were rightly cooked and the cheese melted in the mouth releasing the flavours. We then ordered the panko fried prawns which were simply amazing with being crispy on the outside and delightful on the inside. Thereafter we had the shrimp Thermidor which was an instant hit, I am still drooling when I think of the creaminess of it :-) no wonder it disappeared into our tummies in an instant. Also there are options available for vegetarians be it paneer dishes or veg pastas that one could like in an instant.

In all Martin's place is a great place for one's looking for authentic Goan food at reasonable prices and great service. Also a special Thanks for Malito D'costa for personally checking to see that our requirements were met. We had a lovely time
in this cool place with the tasty food and warm ambiance.
