Being a travel lover I was deciding on which should be the next country to explore. My boyfriend mentioned Italy to me and I instantly said Italy it is! We spent the first few days of our vacation in Rome and visited the famous Trevi fountain on Day 1 followed by the Colosseum. Day 2 was spent at the Vatican City which is actually known as the smallest country in the world. The Vatican Museum is incredibly rich in history and reflects rich ancient art and culture. My favourite part however was the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of St. Peter. The Vatican City looks even more beautiful during the night with all the lights on, and the energy around the place is full of positive vibes making everything so serene. London is beautiful in the winter especially in the month of December with streets lit up all over and Christmas tress put up at most places. One of the main attractions in London during the winter is definitely Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park and I am so glad I got to experience it. Winter Wonderland is a land of its kind and true to its name it does hold us in wonder. I had the company of my boyfriend and friends who helped make it a all the more fun experience. Once inside, you will be confused about what to look at as there is so much to explore. We were like a bunch of excited kids in there pointing to various lights and attractions while in there. The aromas of mulled wine and smoked German sausages filled the air. We did immensely enjoy them included hot Churros drenched in Nutella am still drooling over them. Anytime I heard one of his songs playing, I would pause everything I was doing and just listen to the song with my eyes closed. His song Hero made me believe in love. When I got my new hair cut recently, I was swamped by queries about why I did that. While the majority of my friends, family and strangers as well loved my new hairdo there were some who still said that I shouldn't have done it because my longer tresses looked so much better. So, I finally decided to open up about why i took the decision to cut my hair. Living life with a dreaded disease like cancer isn't easy and there are many young girls who unfortunately suffer from such diseases. So when I was still deciding whether or not to go for the chop, my colleague told me about this wonderful organization called the ' Little Princess Trust ' where I could donate my hair to and they use this hair to make wigs for young girls suffering from dreaded diseases like cancer. It was in 2014 when I first saw a picture of Santorini on the Facebook page of a friend and that was the day I fell in love with Greece. I pointed to the picture and said I am going to go there someday and its true that the universe conspires for things to happen if you truly want it bad. So while in Goa I spoke to a couple of friends of mine about travelling in Europe and my good friend Niranjan was game for it. Initially Germany was the location that we finalized on but then the universe worked its magic and all plans turned towards Greece as our beloved friends Rahul and Shian from London also wanted to visit Greece.
